How to install a new battery in a Ford Fiesta remote key fob
Total Time: 2 minutes
1. Put fob on flat surface face-up

Place your key fob on a flat surface so the front side is facing up.
2. Use screwdriver to open fob

To access the battery, insert your small screwdriver into the notch on the sides of the remote key fob and work your way down. Turn the screwdriver like a key and push. This will pry open the key fob into two halves. You can also use a key blade for this.
3. Insert new CR2032 battery, plus-side up

Now insert your new battery into the battery slot until it stays in. Ensure the plus side with the lettering is facing up.
4. Reattach cover to complete replacement

Finally, put the cover together and click it into place. That’s how you perform a Ford fiesta key fob battery replacement.
